HARARE – THE 2020 Arab and Africa Mining Conference and Exhibition is this year designed to support Arab and African nations in marketing new mining projects to high-ranking industry professionals from the United Kingdom (UK) and the rest of Europe.

Organized with the support of the UK Department for International Trade, Arab and African Mining is a highly-focused Project Presentation Conference, designed to support Arab and African nations in marketing new mining projects to high-ranking industry professionals from the UK and Europe.

Financial Markets Indaba is co-hosting the 4thAnnual Arab and African Mining Conference currently underway (28-30 September 2020).

“As is usually the case, Arab African Mining will focus specifically on marketing greenfield and brownfield mining projects in the Arab and African regions,”

“We expect high-level participation from Ministers, Ambassadors, Geological Surveys, Directors, CEOs and major decision-makers operating in the mining industry in Africa and the Middle East,” said Patrick Muzondo, Financial Markets Indaba business development executive.

Panelists for tomorrow’s session include Justin Bgoni, Zimbabwe Stock Exchange CEO; Roy Pitchford, Fermain Limited director; Ndavhe Mareda, Makole Group chairman and Prejelin Naggan, Khanda Capital CEO.

Muzondo said to further enhance the digital experience, Arab African Mining will integrate with the digital mining platform i-MINE, which is an investment sharing and digital marketing platform for the mineral resource sector.

Geological surveys and mining projects will be pre-released on the platform, enabling attendees to peruse a multitude of projects before their publication at the conference.

“Arab and African Mining Conference will be hosting a Spotlight on Zimbabwe session with a panel discussion on the launching of the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX), to be located in an Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the resort City of Victoria Falls,”

“Trading in US Dollars, the exchange will list local and foreign companies and provides compelling incentives to the investor community.  With a bias for mining sector, VFEX is expected to significantly de-risk investing in mining projects in Zimbabwe and Africa,” said Muzondo.

Financial Markets Indaba is a series of investment conferences convened under Indaba Africa an Emergent Research network of interactive conferences that seeks to profile the investment potential of Africa.

Emergent Research is a unit of Emergent Capital Management, an investment advisory firm. Emergent Capital provides capital raising, advisory services, and research services for international funds, institutional investors and private investors investing in Africa.

Using the very latest conferencing technologies, attendees will be able to arrange 1-2-1 business meetings virtually, as well as listen to the outstanding content as it is broadcast live from Africa, the Middle East and around the world.
