Zimbabwe’s gold deliveries hit 5.11 tonnes in August, small-scale

Zimbabwe’s gold deliveries reached 5.11 tonnes in August 2026, a 20.68% increase on the 4.24 tonnes recorded in the same month last year, according to official data released by Fidelity Gold Refinery (FGR).

The growth was driven largely by small-scale producers, whose output jumped to a year-to-date monthly high of 3.98 tonnes in August.

Cumulative gold purchases by FGR reached 31.17 tonnes over the first eight months of 2026, with small-scale.
