HARARE (Mining Index) – ZIMBABWE Miners Federation (ZMF) President Henrietta Rushwaya has been reinstated as the Federation President after she was suspended last year.
During a meeting held at the Rainbow Towers today, ZMF members unanimously agreed to reinstate Henrietta Rushwaya with immediate effect saying her suspension was unconstitutional.
The Federation stated that the suspension was not lawful and that it is the duty of the National Executive not of the General Council (Management Committee) to suspend her.
Motion to lift the suspension was moved by Mr. Daniel Chitenje and seconded unanimously.
Rushwaya has been reinstated forthwith. ENDS// www.miningindex.co.zw
