38 artisanal miners feared dead in Kadoma

BREAKING NEWS (Mining Index) – AT least 38 artisanal miners are feared dead after heavy flooding at a makeshift mine in Battlefields/Muzvezve area in Kadoma, Mashonaland West province.

RioZim had pledged to provide a pump to de-water the mine pits.

34 artisanal miners were at Silver Moon Mine while the other four were at Cricket Mine in Muzvezve constituency.
